we were meandering
through the meadows
where the sun lit
the contours
of our loving shadows
leading us into
the exciting unknown
playfully teasing
for hours and hours
guided by butterflies,
eternal love
and the fragrance
of wild flowers
we were meandering
through the meadows
where the sun lit
the contours
of our loving shadows
leading us into
the exciting unknown
playfully teasing
for hours and hours
guided by butterflies,
eternal love
and the fragrance
of wild flowers
What sweet and sensual poem! It reminds me of the innocence of teen romance, when everything was new and sincere. And evil wasn’t yet a part of the world because I didn’t make time for the news. Also, it’s a refreshing break room the ugliness I’ve been consuming since the Sixth. Thank you. I hope things are better over there.

Thank you kindly sir. It’s exactly that: the innocence of new romance. The good feel! We need to bring some of it back in our writing to lighten and warm our spirits during these unpredictable dark days. Stay safe!
